Udayan Bose, CEO of NetElixir was featured in “The Hindu”, a popular Indian newspaper, discussing sustainable solutions for mobile advertisements as the mobile search advertising market steadily outgrows its desktop equivalent.
“Search engine marketing requires mathematical models as also predictive modelling,” says Udayan Bose, the founder of NetElixir, a Hyderabad-based company, into search marketing domain. […]
According to Mr. Bose, companies engaging digital marketing solutions providers would look for maximum return on investment. Given the predicted rise in digital omnivores (people likely using more than one smart device like smartphones and tablets), cross platform media would continue to reshape the digital landscape including the consumption of content.

1 project + 3 sporting events + A pizza lunch = A successful NetElixir Kids Day!
Last Thursday was a very exciting and fun-filled day here at the NetElixir office!
Children of our employees were invited to spend the day learning about what we do & also to have some fun all while getting to know the NetElixir family.
The day started out with introductions and the kids went right to work! Their project for the day was to put together a map of the United States and then place our clients’ logos onto the map where their offices are located. They had a great time & with the help of Sales Manager, Marinn Hersh, were able to put together the map beautifully!
We were also really lucky that it was so beautiful outside. The kids got to play soccer, tennis & even some beach volleyball! They also explored the pond nearby and enjoyed some time picking Cherry Blossoms!
We’re really looking forward to Kids Day 2014 and the kids are, too! As they were leaving, they mentioned that they wanted to come to work everyday! I see the next generation of the NetElixir team sprouting already!

If there was one key metric that we would recommend every search marketer to adopt, it would be “value per visit”. Value being calculated as (Revenue – Cost), visit being calculated as visits to the website driven by search engines (we have found that clicks and visits often differ, clicks > visits).
Why is Value Per Visit the most important SEM metric?
The metric focuses on what matters to any business – revenue and profitability – and connects it with visits driven by search marketing.
It is all about quality of visits and the conversion potential of each visit.
This metric is valuable for creating “hyper-targeted” SEM campaigns: Example – Value per visit per Geo; Value per visit per promotion run; Value per visit per Day-Part, etc.
Value Per Visit for Geo-Targeted campaigns (an example): Helps you allocate your budget among various states in a prudent manner.
Google’s Enhanced adwords campaigns offer marketers the ability to manage campaigns for multi-device world. With features like ad customization, targeted bidding and an ability to track various conversion types (across devices), Google adwords makes it both simple, integrated and efficient for marketers.
The Enhanced Adwords Campaigns, because of their advanced targeting and ad customization capabilities, will be specially beneficial for multi-store retailers. These retailers can use adwords effectively for “geo-fencing” (special offers to searchers near their stores) and moreover track the efficacy of the campaigns (example: promo coupons for search/shoppers near stores).
In NetElixir’s January report on holiday shopping trends, we had reported that 17% of all searches during 2012 holidays came from mobile devices. Using our LXR technology, we have tracked multiple search cycles where the searcher used different devices to conduct and complete a unique search-shop cycle. Even during the search-shop cycle the search query (a reflection of intent) varied based on device used, location from where the search happened, time of day, etc.
Google is taking multi-device search marketing to the next level. We will be pro-actively working with our Google reps to create Enhanced Adwords Campaigns for our clients.
